Looks good. You should be able to get some good work done there.

very cool Ron, You will have to share the washer disk brake tecqnique, I know I surely would love to use that on several of the models I am trying to build they look awsomely sharp! very realistic! Sure, It's easy. I picked up these washer packs a Wal Mart, I worked the smooth side with various grit sanding sticks to get a used look to them. Then find a wheel back that fits your wheel combo and glue the washer to it. I made the calipers from scrap sheet and rod styrene and painted them with some Testor's metallizer. You can get as detailed as you want here.

very cool! what was your method of removing old decals?? masking tape?? thats always my trouble point on rebuilders is getting rid of stubborn old decals..... I soak the body in Castrol Super Clean or Westey's Bleche White. They just float off.

Got a little more done on the Edsel. I sanded the first coat of primer smoothing everything out. Still some body work to do. Slice off the stock mufflers I made some brake discs from flat washers and calipers from scrap styrene. Getting there! Got the stance and wheels set.

I've lost count of the actual number I've sold. I'd guess maybe 110-120 all told. I still get orders for them and I've got a small stock of them on hand. I'm working on a stock body Futura sport coupe. When finished, it will use the new Revell 90 Mustang LX as the donor. It will have a lengthened floor pan to match the longer Fairmont wheelbase, custom side panels for the interior, and probably an older style dash from the AMT/Ertl Mustang. I will definitely want one of those when you are finished! Count me in too. I always thought the Futura and the Merc Zephyr Z7 were great looking cars and still do. They just need to beefed up some with 5.0 Fox parts.

Coming along nicely. I like the direction you're going with it.

I'm a cable guy....a real one. 29 years and looking forward to retiring. This is my current office. It a lot more used and beat up now, took this pic about for years ago when it was new. At least it's a Ford!

Very sharp work. I know those aren't easy to build. I like how you did the half and half box art scheme.
