I have alot that come to mind off the   top of my head heres for starters

* American Graffitti (famous deuce coupe, and 55' chevy)
* more american Graffiti
* two lane blacktop
* stroker ace
*gumball rally
* cannonball run
* cannonball run II
* the punisher (most recent one with john travolta in it main character builds one nasty gto)
* last ride (all about the   gto) old judge 69' and modern aussie gto
* driven
* over the top (trucker )
* maximum overdrive (based off a stephen king short story "trucks")   (another "truck/ big rig" flick)
* duel   Old dodge car and (truck)
*original h.b . halicky gone in 60 seconds
* the junkman
*   gone in 60 seconds (nicolas cage and   angelina joline)
*smokey and the   bandit   I, II, and III
so many mor e keep em   coming

yes I know fast and   furious movies i do not know the names to all of them i'm sure someone will list them

These are not really "Car" movies, but have some really cool car scenes, and/or cool cars.

There is a 1997 remake of vanishing point it is good but it is different then the original version it is cleaner more family friendly then the original no drugs here is the plot summery

When his wife goes into a troubled labor while he is on the road over 1200 miles away James Kowalski, an ex race car driver and a former Army Ranger, attempts to elude police while trying to get home. After numerous chases he turns into a Native American reservation and reflects on his life, and his wife. He then heads off to break through an impenetrable police and FBI roadblock.

But after all, "Bullit" is not a car movie, it's a cop movie that just happens to have the world's greatest car chase scene in it!
