 mine is a plain jane first year they came out 2004 Saturn Ion "Redline" its a 2.0 l ecotec motor with a Eaton supercharger apprx. 12 psi boost (don't have a guage) 5 speed manual, supposedly good for 205 hp its family + fun I miss my 5.0 foxbody's tho for sure! |

I'd like to ride shotgun in your 97' snake one day ron its CLEAN!! i forget how those engines went back in the late 90's....
ford went 4.6 after the 5.o...... but wasn't the cobra version of the 4.6 a double overhead cam? more HP compared to the regular GT and normal sohc 4.6?

Yes, you are exactly right! I think the 4.6 started in 96.The DOHC for the SVT Cobra only, supposedly "hand built" and signed. 301 factory rated HP. Thanks.   |
